Labels and tags that lead the way back home.

It seems so simple. A tag or label you attach to your most treasured possessions with basic contact details in case the item becomes lost. I certainly wish I'd had one on my camera bag when I left it in a restaurant in a tiny village in South Korea. It could have saved me the two-day return journey to retrieve it, only to discover that it was no longer there.

I wondered if any Secure Sentinel customers had had similar experiences. I was inundated with tales of misplaced and forgotten items – all with happier endings.

Dr Jennifer Judd told me about the time she drove off and left her bag containing her laptop and important papers in a carpark on the very day she started a new job.'I had a lot on my mind,' she explained to me. 'Not just the pressures of the new position; I had to relocate to a new state and buy a new home as well.'

In a panicked state, her first instinct was to turn around and drive back to the car park. But before she could her phone rang. It was Secure Sentinel. Someone had found her bag, seen the Secure Sentinel tags and contacted them.

Mrs J Webb misplaced her keys at the start of her holidays while she was checking onto a flight from Brisbane to Cairns.

'They inadvertently fell out of my handbag as I pulled out the paperwork for the flight,' she explained to me. 'I was totally oblivious.'

In fact she didn't even realise they were missing until her father rang that evening to tell her that Secure Sentinel had called. Her keys had been found at Brisbane airport and she could collect them on her return.

'I could get into my car at the long term carpark and drive home,' she said with relief. 'Now I use Secure Sentinel tags on my phone, keys and luggage.'
